 Aim:  To support workers to understand and develop their role in improving health.   Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, participants will have: 
  • Raised awareness of different understandings of ‘health’
  • Examined what contributes to and influences health
  • Considered factors that lead to health inequalities and discussed evidence which can be used to inform decision making
  • Explored the role of statutory and voluntary organisations, working in partnership, in creating the conditions for good health and well being and addressing inequalities in health.
